A great testimonial video will convey a lot of emotion. The key is to have the right person interview your clients and it shouldn’t be you. A third party who is good at getting people to open up is best. When we interview the testimonial patients of our clients we make sure the doctor is out of the room so there is less pressure to “perform” in front of him. Then we engage the person with open-ended questions that allow the patient space to open up and talk about how life is was before, and how it is different now. Follow-up questions are often key in helping us get the best content for the video! When we interview a patient we aren’t familiar with their story and so we become that interested party who wants to know more. When some is eager to hear what they have to say and asks good follow-up questions it’s usually easy to get great testimonials!
